On September 18th, 2019, QALA CAPITAL HOLDING Executives had the great pleasure to attend to the official launch of Country Profiles (http://atlas.cid.harvard.edu/) for the Atlas of Economic Complexity’s at Harvard University. This new platform, developed by The Growth Lab at at Harvard’s Center for International Development (https://growthlab.cid.harvard.edu/), takes users on an interactive journey through the economic structure and dynamic growth patterns of more than 130 countries. Powered by a decade of research, the platform generates 10 unique data visualizations per country and easily identifies what new industries are poised for growth.

On September 6th, 2019, QALA CAPITAL HOLDINGS ShPK established the first Special Purpose Entity: the Joint Stock Company PORTO ROMANO REFINERY ShA, fully owned by QALA CAPITAL HOLDINGS ShPK. This JSC is established in accordance with Council of Minister’s Guideline Nr. 8 of 2010, which establishes the criteria for obtaining the Authorisation for developing projects in the Energy and Industrial Area of Porto Romano.

On March 21st, 2019, QALA CAPITAL HOLDING LTDA registered its Albanian branch, QALA CAPITAL HOLDINGS ShPK, with office in Tirana, at Blvd. “Zogu I”. QALA CAPITAL HOLDINGS ShPK will execute all investment initiatives in Albania through appropriate Special Purpose Entities that will be registered in Albania as and when required by the specific business opportunity.
